Asus released a mysterious video featuring a robot heading into a capsule with the ROG Ally console and a controller. The result? A new portable device.
The post is captioned: “Our little robot friend is cooking something up…”. Notably, the official Xbox account also commented on the post.
Although the video was released in early April, the hints might not be a joke. Insider reports earlier suggested that Asus and Microsoft are indeed working on a joint portable console, code-named Project Kennan. This console is expected to serve as a “portable Xbox” and may debut in 2025.
Additionally, the device is anticipated to feature a brand-new interface combining Windows and Xbox capabilities tailored for portable use.
