Ampler has unveiled the Nova and Nova Pro e-bikes, which can be charged using a standard USB-C cable, similar to those used for modern smartphones and laptops. The 250 Wh battery fully charges in three hours with a 140-watt USB-C adapter.
The Nova and Nova Pro models, available exclusively in Europe, are priced at €2,990 and €3,490, respectively. The USB-C port on the frame not only takes in charge but also provides energy—such as to recharge a phone, albeit limited to 15 W. This is convenient for long journeys when devices might run out of battery. The bikes weigh approximately 17 kg, feature 250 W motors, and offer a range of up to 100 km.
Ampler is opening pre-orders in the UK, EU, and Switzerland, with deliveries starting in June.
