MSI is preparing to launch its new flagship gaming monitor MAG 272UP X24, which will be available for pre-order in China at a price of 5499 yuan (approximately 752 USD). This device is a variation of the previously introduced MAG 272URX monitor and generally shares similar characteristics with minor differences.
The MAG 272UP X24 monitor is equipped with a QD-OLED panel from Samsung. It features a 26.5-inch screen with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz. The screen’s brightness is 250 nits in standard mode and up to 450 nits in HDR mode.
Although the MAG 272UP X24 and MAG 272URX share similar features, there are a few differences in the connectivity ports. The new monitor uses a DP 1.4 port with a bandwidth of 48 Gbps, unlike the more advanced DP 2.1a in the higher model. Additionally, the monitor offers a USB-C port with a 15W power delivery, compared to 98W in the MAG 272URX.
