The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the Mayor of Dushanbe, Rustami Emomali, visited the Tajik-Turkish joint enterprise “Akia Avesto” to familiarize themselves with its activities.
According to official information, during this visit, 30 “Akia Nerü” electric buses were put into operation. These buses have 32 seats and can accommodate up to 100 passengers.
The company “Akia Avesto” has produced more than 500 buses and electric buses since 2018. Going forward, the Dushanbe city administration plans to fully transition to electric passenger transport by 2028.
This project is considered a major step forward in Tajikistan’s transport system and contributes to improving public transportation through environmentally friendly vehicles.
