President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow arrived in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, to participate in the second “Central Asia – China” summit. He was welcomed at the international airport by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and other officials.
The main goal of the summit is to strengthen regional cooperation between Central Asian countries and China. Leaders will discuss key areas of political, economic, and humanitarian collaboration.
By the end of 2024, trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan amounted to 555.7 million dollars, indicating stable trade and economic relations between the two countries.
