The Center for Analysis of International Relations held a scientific-practical symposium titled “Multidimensional Cooperation Between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan: Achievements and Prospects.” In his opening speech, Chairman Farid Shafiyev emphasized the positive momentum in bilateral relations, highlighting shared historical and cultural values and expanding cooperation in energy, logistics, and humanitarian fields.

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov noted the recent celebration of 33 years of diplomatic ties and pointed to the Caspian Sea as a symbolic bridge between the nations. Turkmen Ambassador Gurbanmammet Elyasov stressed the priority of Azerbaijan in his country’s foreign policy and valued its support in international initiatives. Attendees discussed prospects for green energy, digital connectivity, and the development of the Trans-Caspian transport corridor.








Special attention was given to Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality policy as a tool for peace and international cooperation. The event concluded with panel discussions and Q&A sessions.
