Intel will unite P- and E-JARA into one platform in the next generation processors

18.07.2025

According to the leak from the Chinese site, INTEL plans to seriously change the architecture of the next generation processors.

The company is going to refuse to divide into productive (P) and energy -efficient (E) nuclei, combining them into a single platform. The development of new “unified” nuclei is already being conducted and will become the basis for the next generations of CPU.

Intel engineer claims that the upcoming small nuclei of Arctic Wolf will be the last in their class.

Their improvements in performance will be insignificant, especially in terms of IPC (Instructions Per Clock), with the exception of tasks with parallel data processing. After that, the company will focus on creating universal “large” nuclei.

It is also noted that the future Nova Lake architecture will receive support for AVX-10 instructions and APX extensions, which should significantly increase productivity in vector operations. The transition to a single platform will simplify the design of the chips and reduce the complexity of crystals, which is beneficial for Intel.
