At the Moscow airport, Vnukovo commissioned the automated passport control system “Sapsan”. New terminals are intended for adult citizens of Russia with biometric passports (series 75 and above).

The system of completely Russian production is both software and hardware components. Automated cabs are installed in passport control zones for departure and arrival.

The main advantages of the innovation are a significant reduction in the time of verification of documents and the relief of the load on border guards during an increased passenger flow. At the same time, the system eliminates the possibility of an unauthorized border crossing.

Earlier Russian company NTECHLAB Developed Video analytics system based on artificial intelligence (AI) to control security at airports. The technology has already been tested in one of the Moscow airports and is preparing for implementation in the regions of the country.
