The press service of the MAI National Research University has created a new burning device for industrial boilers. The development of students is completely performed on Russian components and is designed to replace imported equipment.
According to the university, the device is suitable for heat -tube and water tube boilers with a capacity of up to 2 MW. A feature of development is modulating automation that allows you to smoothly adjust the power, and the frequency-regulated drive, which reduces energy consumption and noise level. The new burner has already been launched into production and will be used on the boilers of the Dorogobuzhkotlomash plant.
MAI rector Nikolai Rogalev noted that the project demonstrates the demand for student developments in the real sector of the economy. The development was conducted under the guidance of specialists from the partner enterprise.
Earlier, Volzhsky branch of the MAI National Research University Introduced The new solar power plant with a capacity of 35 kW is into operation. This project is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the branch and the 95th anniversary of the head university.
