About 800,000 doses of vaccines from Ospoi Monkeys, which the United States promised to transfer to the African countries, will soon be destroyed due to expirational expiration date. It is reported by Politico.
The vaccines were part of the promise of the Biden administration, according to which more than 1 million doses were supposed to send to Africa. However, in reality, the United States transferred only 91,000 doses, and now only 220,000 are suitable for sending. The rest will soon be spoiled – their expiration date ends in less than six months, and such drugs do not take such drugs.
According to the representative of the African Disease Control Center, it takes at least six months before the expiration date to deliver vaccines and organize a vaccination campaign.
Since the last outbreak of monkeys in Africa, almost 160,000 suspicious cases and about 1,900 deaths have been registered in Africa.
