The Fund for Support for Projects of National Technological Initiative determined the winners of the competition for the development of intellectual unmanned systems. Five technological companies will share 262.5 million rubles to create promising developments.
Funds will go to projects using neural networks to control drones. In total, 27 applications were received for the competition, but only five of the most worked out will receive support. These systems can work in different environments – air, water and on Earth.
Among the selected projects are the Air Watch system for monitoring drones of drones, Citadel for finding goals using neuroelectronics, as well as the “locust” – the technology of curely control of drones. Another project, Varan, is dedicated to automated drones.
Developments can be used in rescue operations, environmental monitoring and scientific research. Part of the funds for the implementation of projects will come from private investors – their investments will be from 10% to 30% of the grant amount.
Financing will be distributed in 2025–2026.
