The Federal appeal court in the United States rejected the collective lawsuit against Apple, where the company was accused of providing users with less ICLOUD+cloud storage, which was paid. The court admitted that the claims were based on the incorrect interpretation of the conditions of use of the service.
The reason for the lawsuit was the situation when a user from California issued a paid subscription for 200 GB of cloud space, believing that this will be added to the already available 5 GB of free volume. However, the total capacity of the storage remained 200 GB, which, according to the plaintiff, meant the benefit of the promised.
Nevertheless, the court indicated that Apple initially offered the transition to an increased storage volume, and not its increase to the existing one. Thus, the user received exactly the tariff for which she paid.
