The upcoming Xiaomi 16 Ultra can become one of the most advanced cameras of the year.
According to fresh leaks, the device will receive a battery with a capacity of up to 7500 mAh – this is a noticeable leap compared to previous models of the line and one of the largest indicators among flagships.
The main improvements will affect cameras. The main module will again use a 1-inch sensor for 50 MP, as in Xiaomi 15 Ultra, but we are talking about an updated version of the matrix with improved photosensitivity.
The periscope telephoto lens will now supposedly receive a sensor size of 1/1.28 inches – this is even more than in the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Such a solution should ensure higher detail and quality in conditions of low illumination when shooting with a zoom.
A new 50 megapixel is also expected to be expected to be Sony Lyt600 1/1.95 inch, which is much larger than last year’s module.
Despite a powerful filling and an enlarged battery, the case will remain within the usual format. Official announcement is expected later in 2025.
