Samsung Electronics is negotiating with several companies, including Openai and Perplexity AI, to integrate more artificial intelligence (AI) into their future smartphones. The goal is to offer users a wide selection of AI services, not limited only to the Google Gemini model.
The South Korean technological giant plans to expand the capabilities of its new Galaxy S26 models. At the moment, most Android devices, including Samsung, use ALPHABET AI, the Motherland of Google. But now Samsung is open to cooperate with various suppliers if their technologies are able to provide the best user experience.
Earlier this year, Bloomberg reported that Samsung is close to investing in Perplexity and integrating their application and assistant into his devices. In its approach, the company resembles Apple-it develops its own AI-technologies and at the same time attracts third-party solutions to offer customers the highest quality and most diverse opportunities.
