Microsoft began to test the new experimental Copilot Mode mode in the edge browser.
This function expands the capabilities of the built-in II assistant, allowing Copilot to analyze all open tabs, look for the necessary information, compare goods, book restaurants and even use voice control.
Copilot now appears not only in the side panel, but also in the address bar of the browser. It can with your permission gain access to the history of views and saved accounting data, for example, to independently arrange a reservation or purchase.
II also helps to structure web surfing in the form of thematic “travels”-while maintaining useful links by categories.
The Copilot Mode mode remains optional: it can be turned on or disabled in the Edge settings. It will also be free only a limited time, and some functions will be available as part of the restrictions on use, which hints at future binding to a paid subscription.
