Maxim Labeev, a graduate of the Ufa State Oil University, developed a unique agricultural drone. The drone is equipped with a neural network, which analyzes the state of the fields and dimits fertilizers or pesticides pointarily on the affected areas.
The development differs from analogues with an affordable price – about 120 thousand rubles for the basic version, which is 2-3 times cheaper than commercial models. This makes the drone attractive for small farms. In addition to saving funds, the technology reduces the consumption of chemicals and reduces the harmful effects on the environment.
The drone has a modular design and works on open software. It can be upgraded by adding new functions: meteomonitoring, integration with agricultural scout or computer vision system.
The project has become the thesis of Maxim, who plans to continue its development in the magistracy.
