Among the popular regions among applicants, in addition to Moscow and St. Petersburg, included Tatarstan, Sverdlovsk and Novosibirsk regions. This year, universities of the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions joined for the first time.
The applicants showed great interest to pedagogical specialties. A record number of applications has been submitted – more than 514 thousand. The competition in pedagogical universities grew up to 16 people per place.
