In Google, a photo will soon be able to create a backup copy of only selected photographs so that the content does not take up much space in the cloud.
According to the Android Authority portal, now Google has two ways to backup photos in the photo. The first way is to include backup copying for all photos and videos. This method is suitable for those who have a lot of free space in Google One or who does not make so much content.
The second method is to disable automatic backup and an independent choice of the user, what photos and videos to save. If automatic backing is disabled, in Google a photo appears notification “Create a backup now.” And then a backup copy of the selected photos and videos is created. This gives the user full control over which files to save.
According to observers, this method is good, but if the user often shoots photos and videos, it can be inconvenient, because you have to manually choose each file for saving.
In the new version of Google, the photo appeared that users will soon be able to include cloud backup only for selected files. This means that the user will be able to immediately choose which photos to save in the cloud and which ones do not. When this function is available, all selected photos and videos will be saved, and the rest will remain on the device. Perhaps a new section or folder will appear to mark the target content.
