More and more funeral agencies and relatives of the deceased resort to the help of chat bots to express sorrow and tell about the life of the departed. The reason is simple: the death of a loved one is always pain, and it is almost impossible to find suitable words in this state.
This is where the algorithm comes to the rescue.
For example, 55-year-old Jeff Fargo told how the necrologist entrusted the ChatGPT for his mother: “I just … poured out my soul in PrOMT. And AI wrote what I had no strength for. ”
The reaction of friends and acquaintances was enthusiastic. Now Fargo plans to use the Deep Research mode to write a farewell text for his father, and then for himself.
The creators of such AI services believe that this helps to strengthen the human connection. But not everyone agrees. Some elderly people say that an automated necrologist looks like a way to quickly forget and move on.
