Sony can introduce an important feature into its next console – a patent describing dust protection is found on the network, presumably for the PlayStation 6.
In the document, the company explains in detail the new ventilation design, which should prevent dust from entering the device case, especially into the radiator and power supply zone. This should reduce the risk of overheating and extend the life of the console.
Inside the case, it is supposed to install a special dustproof wall between the ventilation area and the external holes. Such architecture does not interfere with air passage, but prevents the accumulation of dust on critical components:

Although in the schematic images there is a case resembling PlayStation 5, the patent itself refers to the “game device”, which indicates the development of the future model – probably PS6.

Thus, Sony, apparently, seeks to eliminate one of the main drawbacks of the PS5 – sensitivity to pollution of the cooling system.
Earlier, the company has already patented various technological innovations, including unique controllers and methods of optimizing game files.
