According to Aismont, there are about 300 thousand such small asteroids, the size of a ping-pong ball annually. But almost all of them are unnoticed. This is due to the fact that most of our planet is covered with water, and on land there are many uninhabited or few populated places. The scientist noted that in the case of this asteroid, he was just lucky – he came into the field of view of cameras, and his flight looked very beautiful.
