In the capital of the People’s Republic of China, the opening of Robot Mall was opened – the first specialized shopping center in the country, offering a wide range of humanoid and service robots. This is a multifunctional complex, including a demonstration hall, a service center and a spare parts warehouse.
The assortment of the store presents more than a hundred models of robots covering various categories: from interactive pets (robosobak) to anthropomorphic devices imitating historical personalities such as Albert Einstein. Prices vary from two thousand to several million yuan (from about 22,000 to several tens of million rubles).
The opening of Robot Mall coincided with the World Robotics Conference in Beijing. The conference was attended by more than two hundred companies from various regions of the world, which presented over one and a half thousand products.
As part of the conference, the first World Games in History of Handicraft Robots will also be held, which will be held from August 14 to 17 and will include football competitions, dancing and athletics.
