Realme officially confirmed that the new GT 8 smartphone series will be released in October. According to Van Wei vice president, the phones will receive a fully updated design and several surprises.
It is expected that the GT 8 and GT 8 Pro models will work at the new powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. The main model GT 8 Pro will receive a large 6.85-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2K and a special cover for protecting from glare, similar to what is used in Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
A large battery with a capacity of more than 7,000 mAh with fast charging with a capacity of 100 watts will be installed inside the smartphone. For strength, the case will be made with a metal frame.
The camera also promises to be with periscopic telephoto-sensor at 200 MP, which can be the same as in the Oppo Find X9 Pro. In addition, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the screen will be installed in the phone.
The exact price is still unknown, but most likely it will be close to the cost of the predecessor – Realme GT 7 Pro started about $ 500.
