The Sibur holding, which is part of the state corporation Rostec, conveyed a multifunctional quadrocopter for the needs of the Sakhalin Region. It will be used in the elimination of the consequences of emergency situations in the region.
The transfer of equipment took place with the assistance of the Sakhalin branch of the Union of Machine -Builders of Russia. The drone entered the Sakhalin Wings Scientific and Production Center, which is monitoring and eliminating the consequences of natural and technogenic accidents in the region.
It is planned that in the near future the equipment is used to monitor the situation and coordinate assistance to victims after a recent earthquake. In addition, the drone can be used for the prevention and extinguishing of fires, as well as for teaching the population of actions in natural disasters, industrial accidents and environmental disasters.
In the future, the quadrocopter is supposed to be used in scientific research and educational projects related to unmanned aviation systems. It will also help in the development of technologies for protection against unlawful use of drones.
