Anthropic has introduced a new function into its Claude chat boot, which allows the system to refer to previous dialogs with users. The development is aimed at eliminating the need for a repeated description of the context and semantic duplication of information.
The developers achieved this thanks to the integration of memory into the interface, and now the Claude chat boot is able to provide more accurate and personalized answers based on the history of chats. The new function is deployed for users of paid tariffs Max, Team and Enterprise, and this significantly improves the quality of interaction, but still for a limited audience. Users can continue the conversation from the moment they stopped. The function is controlled through the interface settings.
According to the Verge publication, unlike ChatGPT, Claude does not create a secret section with the memorization of facts, but clearly informs the user about the use of data from previous dialogs. The interface has access to the names of the dialogs that the chatbot refers to.
