In the Azov district of the Rostov region, until the end of August, the first in Russia an enterprise for the processing of flaxseed – a plant for oil linen processing. The company will be able to process about 150 thousand tons of seeds per year. This was reported by the press service of the governor of the Rostov region.
The ASVA plant – a joint venture of the Russian company Aston and foreign partners – is located in the Novoaleksandrovsky rural settlement. The plant occupies an area of about 7.5 hectares and will produce more than 50 thousand tons of linseed oil and about 90 thousand tons of oxide every year. Products will be sold both within the country and abroad.
The plant has already received all work permits and successfully tested the equipment. The official opening is planned at the end of August.
The plant will work in such a way that there is no waste and that everything is used – a non -waste technology has been introduced. In this case, the plant will comply with modern environmental standards. The construction of the plant began in May 2023. About 3.2 billion rubles were spent on its creation. Part of the money was taken on credit, and interest on the loan was compensated from the budget of the region.
