In the beta version of One UI 8 based on Android 16, an unusual bug was found, which changes the color of the moon to purple during shooting with a large increase.
Users testing One UI 8 Beta 4 noticed that with a zoom over 30 × and the intelligent optimization functions included on the maximum, the moon acquire a violet shade and become more blurry compared to the photo on the One UI 7.
The problem is international in nature – complaints come from the USA, Great Britain and India.
According to users, the bug occurs after processing the image with optimization algorithms, and not during preliminary viewing.
The ONE UI developers team already apologized for inconvenience, but the deadlines for corrections have not yet been named. As a temporary solution, it is advised to reduce Intelligent Optimization from the maximum value, which should prevent color distortion.
