On August 15, the world’s first game robots will begin in Beijing. Within three days, 280 teams from 16 countries will compete in sports and applied disciplines.
Competitions are held in the arena, where during the Olympiad-2022 there was a tournament in speed skating. Now it is turned into a high -tech zone with places for charging and servicing robots.
The program includes 487 competitions in 26 categories: from running and football 5 to 5 to scenarios that imitate work in hospitals, hotels and in warehouses. For example, in the “hospital” task, the robot should sort and pack drugs according to recipes, and in the “hotel” – find and throw out the garbage in the room.
Teams can use completely autonomous robots or control them remotely. To do this, the arena has a remote control zone and fast 5G Advanced Internet.
Among the participants are Chinese companies Yushu Technology, Xinghaitu, Tiangong, Fourier, as well as leading Universities of China. Teams from other countries also participate in the competition.
