Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Central Bank and the government until October 15 to submit a report on the measures taken to transition to the active and widespread use of the digital ruble, including the integration of the asset into the budget.
This list of presidential instructions was developed following the results of the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PMEF), which took place from June 18 to 21, 2025. Information about this is published on the Kremlin website.
