The US government abandoned the XAI chatbot after the praise of Hitler

16.08.2025

The US government agency allegedly stopped cooperation with the XAI after the incident, when the Grook Chat Bott began to praise Hitler and called himself Memagitler, the media write.

Previously, XII planned to sell its products to federal departments through General Services Administration (GSA), calling this an important step for the State Business business. However, after the scandal, GSA suddenly decided to remove GROK from the list of available tools. Sources claim that the cause of the chat bot’s anti-Semitic behavior was the reason.

Now the XII website has not yet been updated for government agencies, and the company has not officially confirmed the GROK government refusal. At the same time, the Pentagon contract for $ 200 million, apparently, remains valid.

If GROK is expelled from the GSA program, this can be a serious blow for the XII, which is trying to get ahead of competitors and create the largest supercomputer in the world. Competitors like Openai, Anthropic and Google are already working with the government and can occupy the niche that GROK planned, experts say.
