Google released the Android 16 QPR1 Beta 3.1 update for Pixel beta participants. This is probably the last test release before the release of a stable version scheduled for September 3. The previous Beta 3 came out on July 17.
The new version mainly corrects errors without adding new functions. The update is available for Pixel 6 smartphones and newer, as well as for Pixel Tablet.
Beta 3.1 fixes problems that caused rebooting and freezing the device, including due to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, calls and some system components. Bugs with missing icons and a search line on the main screen were resolved, an incorrect display of the notifications panel, which disappears media player on the lock screen and visual artifacts after exiting full -screen applications.
Also improved work on folding devices-the fast settings panel are no longer cut, and the status bar is displayed correctly. Fixed errors that lead to failures when updating the system, loading widgets and a set of text.
In addition, sound problems when switching from a voice call to a video call are eliminated, the flights are fixed when connecting a phone to a computer to transfer files and the use of memory is optimized.
Users already registered in the Pixel beta program will receive an update automatically in the near future.
