The General Director of the State Corporation Rostec, Sergei Chemezov, said that the fifth-generation Russian fighter Su-57 demonstrates superiority over foreign analogues due to its use in real combat operations. Chemezov said this on the air of Channel One.
Chemezov noted a high level of interest in the Russian aircraft by international partners and the availability of specific orders. He also emphasized that the development of fifth -generation fighters is carried out both in Russia and abroad, including the United States. However, according to the head of Rostec, the Russian Su-57 is already used in real hostilities and has a number of advantages compared to analogues.
“The interest of foreign partners in our Su-57 aircraft is very large. We already have specific customers. Today, many countries are engaged in the creation of the fifth generation aircraft, including the United States, and Russia, but it is our aircraft that participates in real military operations. He is largely superior to analogues, ”said Sergey Chemezov.
