Rostec State Corporation completed tests of the first domestic compact power source for servers. The development of the Kalugapribor enterprise is characterized by high energy efficiency and reliability. Serial production of products will begin this year.
New power sources are designed on the basis of the Titan platform and are presented in several modifications with a capacity of 800 to 1600 watts. Their efficiency reaches 89%, which corresponds to the highest class of energy efficiency according to the international standard 80 plus Platinum.
The device uses a modular structure with two parallel operational blocks. When one of them is out of the system, the load is automatically redistributed to a working module, which excludes interruptions in the power of server equipment.
The development is equipped with a system of protection against overload and short circuit. In real time, it transfers data on the temperature of the components, network voltage and other working parameters, allowing you to quickly identify potential malfunctions.
As noted in the company, the Russian market is in dire need of such domestic decisions. In the near future, the manufacturer plans to expand the line of power sources in order to completely close the needs of the industry.
