Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Leysan Abzalilova in the framework of the International Forum “Rasts” in Kazan reported that the republic plans to become one of the leaders in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and unmanned technologies.
According to her, the region has a serious scientific potential, including leading universities, such as KFU, KAI and the University of Innopolis. These institutions, as well as scientific centers and innovative companies, will become the basis for the development of new technologies.
Particular attention is paid to the so -called “power of AI” – systems that work predictably and safely. The authorities of Tatarstan set the task of introducing artificial intelligence in different areas, including economics, transport, medicine and education.
To achieve these goals in the republic, they create testing grounds, support young engineers and develop infrastructure. Abzalilova noted that success is possible only with the cooperation of science, business and state. The Academy of Sciences is ready to actively participate in this process.
