Xiaomi is preparing an unusual novelty by the September announcement – the compact flagship Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini.
The smartphone will receive the same Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip as the senior models of the series, but it will be noticeably compact, while maintaining the top characteristics.
According to the Digital Chat Station insider, the device will be equipped with a 6.3-inch OLED display with ultra-tank frames created using Lipo technology. The design of the prototype is characterized by large rounded corners and a new form factor.
The main feature will be an advanced camera: the main sensor of an increased size will complement the periscopic module, which for a compact smartphone is a rarity. An ultrasound printing scanner in the screen and a high degree of water protection is also expected.
For autonomy, the battery for 6300 mAh with support for wireless charging will be responsible. This is more than OnePlus 13s, but a little less than Vivo S30 Pro Mini.
Analysts note that the market for compact flagships gradually enters a new level – this year batteries of up to 7000 mAh may appear in such models.
