Foxconn increased the set of workers in China before the release of the iPhone 17

The main contractor of Apple – Foxconn – strengthened the set of employees to his factories in China before the IPhone 17 release planned in September. The company raised payment rates and bonuses to attract more temporary workers to the assembly lines in Zhenzhou and Shenzhen.

At the world’s largest iPhone production plant in Zhengzhou, located in the province of Henan, increased tariffs began to operate. According to employees, the hourly rate for workers has increased several times over the past weeks: from 23.5 yuan in early July to 28 yuan by mid -August.

In addition, the company significantly increased bonuses. Now employees who will work at the enterprise for three months can get up to 8 thousand yuan. In early July, a similar payment was a maximum of 4.5 thousand yuan.

At the factory in Shenzhen, the unit responsible for the release of smartphones offers temporary employees of 26 yuan per hour. This tariff will be valid until the end of November. For comparison, workers on other production lines, for example, for the production of wireless headphones, receive 22 yuan per hour.

Increased payments are associated with the need to provide a sufficient number of personnel for the production of new iPhone models. Traditionally, on the eve of the launch of the next Apple Foxconn smartphone, it actively expands the staff to have time to complete orders.
