In Russia, the development of a bill on state regulation of artificial intelligence technologies is underway. This was announced by Natalya Kasperskaya, chairman of the board of the Association “Domestic Soft”. According to her, the document provides for the introduction of restrictions on the processing of these citizens.
As Kaspersky specified, there are currently several options for the text of the future law. She participates in the work of one of the expert groups, advocating the ban on digital ratings of citizens and for the right of a person to abandon digitalization.
An expert, which is also the president of the Infowatch group of companies, expressed serious concerns about the widespread collection of information about people. She emphasized that data analysis systems used within companies to identify risks should not be distributed throughout the country.
Kasperskaya noted that such tools are effective in protecting the commercial interests of enterprises, but their scaling to the level of the whole country pose a threat to the total analysis of the life of each person. This, in her opinion, is unacceptable.
