The Ministry of Construction of Russia announced the creation of a single platform for managing the consent to the processing of personal data. It will be placed on the “State Services” portal and is developed as part of the second package of measures to combat cyber abuse.
The new service will provide users with the opportunity to view all the consent data earlier, both in online format and offline. Citizens will be able to see which organizations, for what purpose and how they use their personal information.
The key function of the platform will be the possibility of recalling previously issued permits for the processing of personal data. This will allow users to more effectively control their digital privacy.
