The advanced engineering school “Electronics and electrical engineering” SPbGETU “LETI” opens a new master’s program. It is intended for the training of specialists in the development of domestic components of radio electronics. The program was created in cooperation with one of the St. Petersburg enterprises.
Students will work with real samples that require replacement due to restrictions on the supply of imported components. The training is focused on the practical solution of import substitution problems in the electronic industry.
By 2030, Russian electronics should take 70% of the domestic market, and the volume of production should increase four times. The new program is designed to help in achieving these indicators by training qualified personnel.
Also in the new academic year, the university plans to launch a program for working with industrial lasers. It will include training in processing materials and manufacturing products.
In addition, two programs dedicated to digital doubles will appear in Leti Pysh. They will cover both technological processes and enterprise management. Students will study the development and implementation of such systems in production.
