In the Chelyabinsk region, in September, a system for monitoring container sites using artificial intelligence (AI) will begin to work in September. The development of NTECHLAB, a technological partner of the Rostec State Corporation, will analyze video streams from surveillance cameras.
Artificial intelligence will be able to determine the crowded containers and the presence of garbage around them. The system works with all types of garbage tanks and is able to recognize violations of the waste collection schedule. If problems are found, the algorithm automatically notifies utilities.
Additionally, the neural network reveals cases of incorrect parking of cars that interfere with the entrance of garbage trucks. This will ensure unhindered access to container sites for the timely removal of waste.
According to the developers, algorithms are capable of fixing emergency situations and ensuring round -the -clock monitoring in a split second. Such solutions have already shown their effectiveness in improving the environmental condition of cities and the quality of garbage collection services.
