The first domestic high-speed train for the Moscow-St. Petersburg highway will be fully automated and controlled by artificial intelligence, said the head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov at the Pro // EXPO International Railway Salon, TASS writes.
Artificial intelligence is already being developed and tested, Belozerov noted. According to the head of the company, more than 20% of all new developments for the train have already been tested, ready for use and is produced. Now certification of the future is actively carried out.
Russian Railways signed a contract with Ural Lokomotivi for 12 billion rubles for the creation, certification and supply of the first two high -speed electric trains. Trains will consist of eight wagons with the possibility of connecting two compositions and include four service classes.
The maximum train speed will be 400 km/h, and the operational one will be 360 km/h.
