From September 1, 2025, the payment system from the owners of the heavy trucks Plato will begin to automatically calculate and finish building truck routes along federal routes during malfunctions in the reception of navigation data from on -board equipment.
The decision on this is published on the portal of regulatory legal acts. The new mechanism will use data from video cameras and other technical means to determine routes, even with the inaccessibility of on -board navigation systems.
The initiative is designed to increase the transparency and accuracy of payment, as well as the reliability of the Plato system. Drivers will receive notifications of calculated routes and fees in personal offices. Information will also be included in the reports to control the expenses.
Measures are aimed at solving problems caused by interference in the operation of satellite systems that can be caused by electronic struggle or the actions of unscrupulous carriers. This will avoid unfair fines for bona fide carriers.
“Thanks to the decision on September 1, 2025, the mechanism of automatic completion of the car route for sections of federal roads will begin to work, with which navigation data from on -board devices to the Plato system are not received,” the Ministry of Transport said.
