WhatsApp* introduced a new Writing Help function, which helps users create messages using AI. The function can offer text options in different styles: business, joking or supportive. The user can choose any offer or ignore the tips.
To use the Writing Help, you need to touch the new pencil icon when writing a message in personal or group chat. The function uses a technology that provides confidentiality: META* and WhatsApp* do not gain access to the contents of messages and the proposed options.
Writing Help is not turned on by default – if you do not want to use AI, you can leave the function of the turned off.
Now Writing Help is available in English in the USA and several other countries. Support for other languages and regions will appear later this year.
