Rosneft scientists have developed a new technology that allows you to detect oil spots with high accuracy in reservoirs, writes TASS.
According to the company, this will help increase the effectiveness of environmental measures at its enterprises, as well as minimize the negative impact on the environment.
In addition, in the first half of 2025, the company recorded a decrease in the number of incidents in enterprises. So, cases of depressurization of equipment with severe consequences of the first level decreased by 52%, the second level – by 22% compared to the same period of 2024.
For six months, there were not a single oil, gas or water emission at Rosneft facilities when drilling wells. As part of the work to reduce spills, commercial pipelines and other preventive measures were replaced.
