Thin smartphones again become popular. After the Galaxy S25 Edge and the expected iPhone 17 Air, Tecno prepares its own version – Pova Slim 5G, the launch of which is scheduled for September 4. Tecno calls it the thinnest smartphone with a curved screen in the world.
The exact dimensions have not yet been disclosed, but earlier on the MWC 2025 Tecno showed the Spark Slim concept with a thickness of only 5.75 mm. The new Pova Slim looks very similar.
In addition to the thin case, the smartphone will receive AI tools, including Circle to Search and the Ella Ai voice assistant. An unusual function is the ability to make calls without a network using Bluetooth for a direct connection with another device within the signal action.
Pova Slim 5G supports a full-fledged 5G connection. The design provides dynamic backlight around the cameras.
The phone promises a battery for 5,000 mAh.
