The court ordered Google to share data, but retained Chrome and Android

The American court allowed Google to save its Chrome browser and the Android operating system, but ordered the company to share data with competitors. The decision was made based on the results of the antimonopoly case, which was considered for more than five years.

Earlier, the court found that Google has an illegal monopoly in the search market and related advertising. However, when choosing measures of influence, the judge took into account the growth of competition by companies operating in the field of artificial intelligence. In his opinion, it is the new technologies that can change the balance in the market, where Google dominated for decades.

The court ruled that the company should provide access to these competitors, which can strengthen their positions in the online advertising and the development of chat bots. At the same time, Google will be able to continue cooperation with Apple and other manufacturers of devices. According to analysts, only Apple annually receives about $ 20 billion from the company for using the default search engine.
