According to analysts, Jon Peddie Research, NVIDIA set a new record in the market of discrete video cards, occupying 94% of supplies in the II quarter of 2025.
AMD accounted for only 6%, and Intel completely fell out of statistics with a zero indicator. The market generally grew by 27% compared to the previous quarter, which was facilitated by high demand for game accelerators and solutions for data processing centers.
At the same time, 4.7%also added to the GPU supplies for data centers.
The main driver of the success of NVIDIA was the maps of the GeForce RTX 50XX series, which continue to actively make update and provide record incomes of the company’s game segment. Analysts expect that by the end of the year, against the background of the festive season, NVIDIA positions can be strengthened even more.
For AMD, the situation remains difficult – its share decreased by 2.1% per quarter, and the new video cards of the Radeon RX 9000 series will be released only in 2026. Intel also does not yet offer competitive solutions in the mass segment.
