Tesla announced the recall of 7,301 Model Y 2025 cars in Australia. The problem touched on all versions of the updated crossover. The reason is the error in the software system of the driver’s safety system.
Due to the malfunction, glass can be closed with excessive strength and crush a hand or another item. So far, there have been no cases of injuries, but the manufacturer recommends that the owners urgently update the software.
Correction is already available in version 2025.25.6. You can install it independently – the update is loaded through the menu of the multimedia system and does not require a visit to the service center. If desired, the owners can contact Tesla by phone or through the official website.
