The Moscow Creative Industry Agency and Rustore Russian Applications store agreed to jointly develop the mobile games industry. Cooperation will be implemented on the basis of the first cluster of video games and animation in Russia, which will open in the capital this year.
Partners plan to create an integrated ecosystem, which will include educational programs, accelerators for developers and promoting their projects. The first accelerator of mobile games will be launched this fall, more than 30 studios are expected to participate in it. Particular attention will be paid to the support of indie developers and assistance in access to international markets.
Rustore, the monthly audience of which is 60 million users, will provide Moscow studios tools for creating and promoting their products. It is planned that the share of capital developers in the gaming industry will increase by a third by 2030.
The Moscow video game cluster will become a full cycle platform – from training to export support. Developers will gain access to professional equipment, including traffic captures, recording rooms and modern lecture halls.
