T2 provided access to key online services for restrictions

05.09.2025

The Russian mobile operator T2 has introduced an automatic access system for socially significant Internet resources in the restrictions. The solution has been developed in conjunction with relevant departments and meets safety requirements.

Subscribers can use key services without additional settings. The list of available resources includes: portal of public services, messengers of VKontakte and OK, OZON and Wildberries marketplaces, Yandex and Mail.ru search engines, 2GIS navigation services, as well as public institutions.

The technical infrastructure of the operator operates in accordance with the requirements of federal and regional authorities. The decision supports the balance between the protection of critical infrastructure and the provision of citizens’ access to important digital services.

As the deputy general director of T2 Irina Lebedeva noted, this is a compromise option that solves the problem of access to socially significant resources without violating security measures. The operator will continue to track feedback and, if necessary, expand the list of available services.

Access is provided within the framework of current tariff plans and does not require additional payment. The decision was implemented in the shortest possible time taking into account the needs of subscribers and the current operating situation.
